How To Eat Vegan At Taco Bell

Because vegans need their Taco Bell fix too.

Our fans were pretty happy when we wrote How To Eat Vegetarian At Taco Bell and to learn more about all the vegetarian options that are available.

Luckily for all you vegans out there, we’ve got your back. That goes for our flexitarians and veggie-curious customers too! Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to get your perfect Taco Bell order. With just a few simple modifications to some of your favorite menu items, you can create a delicious vegan feast in the restaurant by using our instore kiosk or online at TacoBell.com and through the Taco Bell mobile app.

Our customizable menu simplifies the process of making most of our products vegan*. First order any item “fresco style”, which replaces mayo-based sauces, cheeses, and reduced-fat sour cream with freshly prepared diced tomatoes. Then, substitute the protein with black beans, refried beans, or potato bites. Yup, it’s really that simple!

To show you just how easy it is to make your Taco Bell order vegan, here are a few of our favorite American Vegetarian Association (AVA) certified vegan menu items we’ve customized for you:
