2024 Taco Bell Live Más® Student Section Offer Terms & Conditions

1. Offer Overview: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  This year, eligible Taco Bell® Rewards members who are logged in to the Taco Bell mobile app will have the opportunity to help pick the winner of the Taco Bell Live Más® Student Section.  Taco Bell Corp. (“Taco Bell” or “Sponsor”) is the Sponsor of this Offer.  

2. Offer Participation: There are three (3) voting periods, each beginning at 05:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ending 11:59:59 PT on the following dates (each, a “Voting Period”):   

  1. Voting Period 1: 10/12/24- 10/17/24  

  2. Voting Period 2: 11/30/24- 12/4/24  

  3. Voting Period 3: 12/6/24- 12/9/24  

During Voting Periods 1-3, eligible Taco Bell® Rewards members who are logged into the Taco Bell® mobile app (“Eligible Fans”) can click on the voting module in the Taco Bell® mobile app to vote for one (1) of five (5) eligible student sections as designated by Taco Bell (each a “Vote”).  The one (1) student section that receives the most votes in each of Voting Periods 1-2 will be included in Voting Period 3.  During Voting Period 3, Eligible Fans can use the Taco Bell® mobile app to place a Vote for one (1) of the two (2) top voted student sections from Voting Periods 1-2 plus two student sections Taco Bell will select in its sole discretion based on criteria such as social media engagement.  Limit one (1) Vote per person or account per each Voting Period.  The student section receiving the most Votes during Voting Period 3 will be announced at the College Football Awards Ceremony.  

3. Offer Rewards: Eligible Fans who cast a Vote for the student section that receives the most Votes in a Voting Period will automatically receive their choice of a free Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco or Cantina Chicken Soft Taco reward (the “Reward”) in their Taco Bell® Reward accounts on the Taco Bell® mobile app within approximately twenty-four (24) hours after the top Vote-getting student section for a particular Voting Period is announced.  The Reward is nontransferable and must be redeemed within seven (7) days of receipt in the Eligible Fan’s Taco Bell® Reward account.  The Reward expires seven (7) days after the Reward is credited to the Eligible Fan’s Taco Bell® Reward account.  The Reward is redeemable only via the Taco Bell mobile app for in-store/drive-thru pickup orders at participating Taco Bell locations in one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, while supplies last.  The Reward cannot be used for Web pay-ahead, pickup, or delivery (except as may otherwise be designated by Taco Bell in Taco Bell’s discretion with respect to delivery orders placed directly on the Taco Bell mobile app).  Limit one (1) Reward per Voting Period per person or account.  Approximate Retail Value of each Reward: $2.99.  Prices may vary and any difference in value will not be provided.  Reward may not be combined with other rewards or offers. No product or ingredient substitutions, upgrades, add-ons, cash redemption, or alternative will be allowed unless permitted by Taco Bell at its sole discretion. Participating Taco Bell restaurant manager reserves the right to deny Reward to any person the manager reasonably believes has engaged in fraudulent activity.  Any applicable taxes related to the Reward are the responsibility of the Reward recipient. Offer is subject to store availability and hours, and Taco Bell reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value due to unavailability.  All restaurant managers’ decisions are final regarding this Offer.   

4. Eligibility: Offer is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, who are sixteen (16) years of age or older as of their first Vote, and who have a registered Taco Bell Rewards Program account on the Taco Bell mobile app.  The Taco Bell mobile app is free and can be downloaded by following the instructions at ta.co.  Void where prohibited.  

5. Administration: Sponsor expressly reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this Offer at any time.  Administration of this Offer is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.  Any questions relating to eligibility, these Terms and Conditions or any other questions concerning this Offer will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and their decisions will be final and binding with respect thereto. Participants may be required to sign documents in connection with the Offer as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion.  No groups, clubs, corporations, companies, partnerships, or organizations may participate in this Offer or reproduce or distribute any portion of these Terms and Conditions to their members. The dates and times of the Voting Periods are subject to change in Taco Bell’s discretion. 

6. Release and Waiver of Liability: By casting a Vote or otherwise participating in this Offer, participants agree: (a) to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Taco Bell Corp. and its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising/promotional partners (including, but not limited to, ESPN, Inc.) and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, sales representatives, distributors and franchisees, and each of their officers, directors, employees and agents ("Promotional Parties"), from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, promises, causes of action, injuries, damages and/or liabilities, that may arise, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in this Offer or from the receipt or use or misuse of the Reward, or any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of the Reward; (b) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Offer or any Reward or any advertising, marketing, promotion or publicity materials in connection therewith, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs.    

By participating, each participant agrees that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, consumer’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with this Offer, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.  By participating, entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts for Irvine, California for the resolution of any disputes related to this Offer.  

Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with, or utilized in, this Offer, or by any human error which may occur in the transmission or processing of the registrations in this Offer.  Sponsor assumes no responsibility for damage caused by computer virus or otherwise, to any computer resulting from participant’s access of the Offer website or participation in the Offer.  All Internet access and usage charges are the responsibility of the participant.  If for any reason this Offer is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer and, if terminated, award Offer items as deemed fair and equitable by the Sponsor. Persons found tampering with, or abusing any aspect of, this Offer, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified. Participants must have a valid email address.  In case of dispute as to identity of participant, participant will be the account holder of the email address to which the Offer email was sent.  “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
