Taco Bell Spices Things Up with First-Ever Hiring Parties

Typical job applications might be considered a chore – but leave it to Taco Bell to make applying for a job a party! If you were in Indianapolis last month, you may have heard about Taco Bell’s Hiring Parties. For the first time ever, Taco Bell invited anyone looking for a job to come join us in-store to see what a job at Taco Bell is really like, and maybe get hired almost instantly!

We hosted two days of Hiring Parties across four Taco Bell restaurants in the Indianapolis area. Over the span of just six hours, the stores received nearly 75 in-person job applications – and 40 people were identified as perfect fits. Yep, that means about 50% of people who applied during the Hiring Parties walked out well on their way to a job*. Additionally, after Hiring Party promo covered people’s news feeds and job searches, we saw more than 300 online applications. Good choice? You bet.

With free Nacho Fries and Watermelon Freezes served up alongside trivia games, free swag and on-the-spot job interviews, we found that putting the werk into ~workforce~ helped bring the best candidates into restaurants. Because what better way to experience Taco Bell’s unique culture than inside an actual Taco Bell store, among actual employees? You just can’t quite capture the same vibe through a computer screen.
