On July 1, The Hawaii State Department of Health announced a Hepatitis A outbreak on Oahu. This week, the Department of Health confirmed that an employee of one our franchisees has tested positive for Hepatitis A. Ensuring the health and wellbeing of customers and team members is our highest priority, and we and our franchisee are taking this matter very seriously. The employee is on medical leave for the time being and all employees have been re-trained and re-certified on our strict hand-washing, glove, food safety, and illness policies. We and our franchisee are following all protocols established by the Department of Health, and we will continue to work closely with them to protect the health of the public.
