Taco Bell® And Fried Chicken: When Opposites Attract

We've challenged ourselves to put our very own Taco Bell twist on classic fried chicken

Fried chicken has been around forever. And over the years it’s got a ‘chic’ new status. At Taco Bell, we’ve got two years under our belt testing out fried chicken. But we knew to rule the coop, we couldn’t just jump on the traditional trend of classic fried chicken. That’s why we’ve challenged ourselves to put our very own Taco Bell twist on it and to build an appetite for a fried chicken experience you can’t find anywhere else:

  • Chicken Biscuit Taco:

For one of our very first forays into breakfast, we made sure to bring “respect” to the Southern staple that is the fried chicken biscuit.

  • ChickStar: We began with marinated all-white-meat chicken and - true to our Mexican-inspired culture - breaded it in tortilla chips and crisped it to perfection.

  • Naked Chicken Chalupa: Imagine getting a text from a friend that said, “What if we made a taco out of chicken Milanese?” That’s how the Naked Chicken Chalupa was born. It was the first of its kind, and better yet, made from chicken raised without antibiotics important to human medicine in all our U.S. restaurants.

  • Naked Chicken Chips: The Naked Chicken Chips are a chip off the ol’ Naked Chicken Chalupa block: similar, but different.

  • ChickStar: The 2015 favorite is back – but this time around it features our new Naked Chicken Chips complemented by our ever-popular Avocado Ranch sauce.

Yeah, our mouth is watering now, too. But if you missed any of these limited-time offers, fear not. As long as we’re living in the unofficial golden age of fried chicken, you never know what you might see on our menu next…
